Lumiere paints from Jacquard are a stunning range of 33 metallic and pearlescent acrylics paints for fabric and leather. These light-bodied paints brush on smoothly.
Available here in 67ml (2.25fl oz) jars.
Lumiere paints are formulated so they won’t crack, peel or chip, even on flexible surfaces like fabric, leather, vinyl or rubber.
Soft to the touch and washfast on fabric when heat fixed. They can even be used on non-porous surfaces like ceramic and metal. Lumiere colours are lightfast and weather-resistant, and their high pigmentation provides excellent coverage, even on dark surfaces.
Basic instructions for use:
Application:
Jacquard Lumiere can be applied with brushes, stamp pads, squirt bottles, and airbrush. For airbrushing thin with water up to 25%.
Fixing:
After drying, set with heat. There are several ways to do it:
Ironing:
This is the best method. Use a dry iron and iron on the reverse side on the appropriate setting for the fabric.
Dryer:
Have the dryer on as hot a temperature as the fabric will take for about 35 to 45 minutes.
Cleanup:
Promptly clean all tools with warm water.
