Daler Rowney FW Mixed Media canvases use a traditional wood frame and stretched canvas surface, but this is supplemented by the addition of a rigid board between the top face of the frame and beneath the stretched canvas fabric. This gives a traditional, rigid and flat canvas surface which is ideal for pouring technique. It is also suitable for all traditional and mixed media techniques including impasto and heavy colour application.
