Bockingford Watercolour Blocks contain 12 sheets of 300gsm/140lb acid free mould-made, wood free watercolour paper. The paper in these blocks have a 'Rough' surface. It is ideal for a more abstract and free style of painting. It can also be used for pastels, inks, designers gouache and acrylics.
A watercolour block is when all of the sheets of watercolour paper are glued along all four sides to form a 'block'. The advantage of a watercolour block is that the paper does not have to be stretched before use.
The paper is internally sized to prevent the water and colour seeping through.
This Bockingford watercolour paper comes direct from the St Cuthberts mill which guarantees high standards of quality in every aspect of production.
