Liquitex Surface Preparation

Liquitex Surface Preparations set the foundation for stable and permanent colour applications by sealing and adding tooth to almost any painting surface. Liquitex have a range of gessos available to accommodate all types of work. The same preparation is used for both acrylic and oil paint. Liquitex gessos usually take just one coat.

All Liquitex Surface Preparations are non cracking and do not yellow over time. If you are using more than one coat of primer it is recommended that you sand the surface inbetween coats. Try adding Liquitex Soft Body acrylic paint to any Liquitex Gesso to create customized tints and primers.
