Pebeo Fantasy Moon Paints have been specially formulated to create a textured, hammered, pearlescent paint effect which is instantaneously visible. It is a craft paint that will paint on to virtually any surface, such as wood, metal, glass, ceramics, porcelaine, terracotta, plastic, mirrors, canvas, jewellery, acetate, etc.
There are 22 pearlescent & opalescent colours in the Moon range, including the 4 new fluorescent colours introduced in 2020. Fantasy Moon Paints are solvent based (clean equipment thoroughly after use with white spirit), have good light resistance and dry to a glossy finish.
For best results, simply apply the paint to your object or surface using a flat brush, in thin or thick coats. A thin paint application will give an opalescent finish and a thick paint coat will give an opaque finish. Moon Paints can be mixed together to create other colours and effects.
You can even use Fantasy Moon Paints on wet Pebeo VITRAIL Paints to create a marbled paint effects. Moon Paints are usually touch dry within 2 hours (thinner paint applications may not take so long) and fully dry within 10 hours.
Painted objects and surfaces may be wiped clean but do not soak decorated objects. Mix well before use. Sets are also available.
