Golden Molding Paste Mediums are non absorbant and ideal for creating more rigid textures (compare to Gels) and forms in the paint. They dry to a semi opaque satin finish with good moldability.
There are different types of Golden Molding Pastes available to suit a range of painting techniques. All are archival quality.
Golden Light Molding Paste - This has a foam like quality and can be built up very thickly without adding excessive weight to the painting.
Golden Molding Paste - For standard textural applications.
Golden Extra Heavy Modeling Paste - Good for creating thicker applications that require more of a three dimensional look and form.
Golden Hard Molding Paste - The most dense of the modling pastes, this can be carved by hand or with power tools. Extremely effective for three dimensional work.
Golden Coarse Molding Paste - A semi transluscent paste that is excellent for building up texture or for creating a ground for drawing media such as charcoal, graphite and pastels and for colour wash.
All of these pastes can have paint added to them or can be over painted.
