Liquitex Gloss Gel Medium is a flexible 100% acrylic polymer emulsion. This paint extender slows the drying time of acrylic paint increasing your available working time while holding brush and palette knife marks allowing you to create impasto and sculptural effects.
Gloss Gel Medium increases the volume and transparency of paint making it ideal for creating brilliant transparent glazes.
Use Liquitex Gloss Gel Medium as a transparent ground; just make sure that you really push the gel into the canvas to ensure even coverage and a secure bond. It’s really effective when painting onto natural linen if you want to see the surface colour.
