Liquitex High Gloss Varnish increases the gloss, depth and intensity of the colours it is applied over. It is a 100% permanent acrylic polymer varnish that is water soluble and translucent when wet. It dries extremely clear with a high gloss sheen. It is a durable and archival qualtiy varnish that is non-yellowing.
This High Gloss Varnish dries to a non-tacky, hard, flexible surface with a water resistant finish. Depending upon substrate, it allows moisture to pass through (breathable).
Apply High Gloss Varnish as a final varnish over dry acrylic paint. You cannot use this varnish over oil paint and do not try to thin it as it will weaken the varnish film and adhesion.
This product is suitable for interior and exterior use. Do not attempt to remove it with solvents.
