Rembrandt Artists' Soft Pastels produce intense pure colours that have a high lightfastness. These pastels have a high concentration of extra fine pigment giving a good colour coverage and layering properties. They are free of metal based pigments making them safe for artists' to continually use.

There is a large range of individual colours available to create numerous shades and tones of pastel colour. Tints marked with 5 are made of the pure colour. Tints marked with 3 are the pure colour mixed with black to produce a darker tone. Those marked with 7 to 12 are mixed with increasing amounts of white to produce lighter tones of that colour.

Rembrandt Soft Pastels are round in shape and measure approximately 70mm long x 10mm round.
