Caran d'Ache Pastel Cubes are extremely high quality, hard, dry pastel cubes with great precision and colour strength.
They are hand-made with a powdery texture and a high concentration of ultra-fine artists' pigments and exceptional lightfastness.
The colours are rich and vibrant, give excellent coverage and match the colours available in the Caran d'Ache Pastel Pencil range.
Caran d'Ache Pastel Cubes are 6mm wide and 83mm long. They have a soft texture which preserves its shading qualities, producing easy, even shading.
Pastel Cubes are intended for drawing and can be used flat on thier side to cover large areas of bright colour quickly. The corners and edges of the pastel cubes can be used for finer detail. Colours can be over-layed to create new colours and transparencies.
Caran D'ache Pastel Cubes can be shaped / sharpened with a sandpaper block. Fixing is recommended.
