Winsor & Newton Winton Long Flat Hog Brushes are made from the finest chinese hog.  Long Flat brushes are produced to the same exacting specification as the Short Flat/Bright but with a longer bristle length for greater spring and freer marks.  They are often used with more fluid colour.

Winton Long Flat Hog Brushes are handset into seamless, corrosion resistant ferrules, using the natural curve of the bristle to produce a resilient brush that will retain its 'turned-in' shape even after heavy use, allowing the artist more control and accuracy, whether painting with oils, alkyds or acrylics.

The solid wood handles of a Winsor & Newton Winton Hog brush are stained to give an attractive grained wood effect with four coats of lacquer to serve as protection and to produce the smoothest possible finish.
