Michael Harding Refined Safflower Oil 100ml

Michael Harding Refined Safflower Oil is a slow-drying, pale oil medium that can be mixed with oil paints to brighten and thin them.

It is similar to Poppy Oil but forms a more flexible paint film, making it suitable for use on stretched canvas.

Safflower Oil is brighter and paler than linseed oil. making it a popular choice with artists for mixing with white oil paints and lighter shades, as it will not yellow them.

Paints thinned with this oil medium should not be used under faster drying layers / under painting.
