Veronica’s Garden is a colouring book by artist Sarah Jane Vickery. This A4 colouring book for adults contains 45 beautiful illustrations to colour and inspires curiosity, courage and friendship.
The drawings are printed on 140gsm uncoated paper with a very slight grain / tooth. You can use colouring pencils or water-based felt tip pens to colour the images (avoid alcohol-based markers as these may bleed through the paper).
This colouring book is made up of 52 pages including the cover (the cover is a 300gsm uncoated paperstock). Inside, there are 45 illustrations to colour, including some large ones and some smaller ones.
The book is singer sewn so that the pages open out completely flat, making it easier to colour the pictures in, while adding strength to the spine of the book.
Sarah Jane Vickery has created these drawings using a 0.1mm and 0.5mm fineliner, so the lines are very thin, allowing you to colour right into the outlines.
Faber-Castell Polychromos colouring pencils are a great choice for using in this colouring book as they blend well and have a high colour pigment. If you prefer to colour with pens, then make sure that you use water-based pens, so that they don't bleed through the paper (check a small area first). Pens like Stabilo Pen 68, Stabilo Point 88, Tombow Dual Brush Pens, etc, should work well.
