Vallejo Chipping Medium is a water based medium to create flaked paint, scratches, and rust chips. If you wish to simulate wear and tear such as chips or scratches on a model or diorama, apply it between two layers of paint, wait about 30 minutes, and then use a short, stiff-bristled brush dampened with water to remove the top layer of paint.
