Liquitex Effect Mediums

Liquitex offer a variety of products including Fluid Mediums, Gel Mediums, Texture Gels and Additives which have been specifically designed to achieve various techniques, applications, and special effects.

Liquitex Fluid Effect Mediums increase flow, dry transparent or translucent, extend the volume of thin paint and make an excellent archival adhesive for collage. Liquitex Gel Effect Mediums add body to the acrylic paint, increase "open" time, dry transparent or translucent, extend the volume of the paint, hold brush strokes or palette knife marks and make an excellent adhesive for collage. Liquitex Texture Gel Mediums dry flexible, do not yellow and dry water-resistant. Liquitex Additive Effect Mediums do not add transparency to the paint film and are available in both fluid and gel viscosities. Liquitex Additives should be used sparingly and only in the amount needed to achieve the desired effect.
