Liquitex Crackle Paste 237ml

Liquitex Crackle Paste creates a cracked surface texture when dry. You can use it on its own, mix it with acrylic paint or paint over it once dry.

If you want to mix it with your acrylic paint, just add 15% colour to 85% medium.

Apply the crackle paste to a rigid surface using a palette knife and leave it to dry for at least 24 hours. The cracking effect will vary depending on how thickly you apply it. The thicker the application, the more crackled the effect will be but allow for a longer drying time.

When using this medium on wood, seal the wood first with a fluid / gel medium.

This Liquitex Crackle Paste can be used with the complete Liquitex acrylic range. Ideal for creating that vintage look!

It dries to a hard, opaque finish, is durable and of archival quality. Available in a 237ml pot.

Don't dilute this acrylic medium with water or try to speed up the drying time as this may result in less or no cracking.
