The Arches Aquarelle Water Colour Blocks contain 20 sheets of 140lbs / 300gsm mould-made, 100% cotton, water colour paper. This paper is of excellent quality and acid free with a gelatine size that is PH neutral.
The Arches Aquarelle Paper is bound together in a block which is glued along all for sides so that the paper does not have to be stretched before use.
These Arches Aquarelle Water Colour Blocks have a 'HP' / Hot Pressed surface, which is a very smooth surface. The surface is suitable for most types of watercolour painting and is ideal for fine detail painting such as Botanical Art. Arches Aquarelle Blocks are also available in a cold pressed and rough surface.
