This Pebeo Drawing Gum Pen has a round 4mm nib and is an easy and more precise way to apply masking fluid to your paper before painting with watercolours. It contains a blue peelable latex that is used to keep areas white (the latex resists the watercolour paint).
The blue colour makes it easy to see where you have applied it. To remove the drawing gum from the surface, simply rub it with a clean finger or an eraser.
It comes with a spare 4mm lid in the lid. Artists' like using these Pebeo Masking Fluid pens as the latex solution can ruin paint brushes. It is also great for taking out and about with you as it is more compact.
The 4mm nib allows for clean, fine, continuous applications of drawing gum without clogging.
Shake well before using and prime the tip first by pushing it down a few times on a scrap piece of paper. This will get the drawing gum to flow to the nib. Remove and clean the pen nib after use with warm water.
Store flat when not in use and preferrably use within 12 months of opening.
It is also available in a finer 0.7mm nib.
